Ripley Rascals, Commonwealth Champions?

Ripley Rascals, Commonwealth Champions?

Local Life saving club, Ripley Rascals, shared some awesome news with Steve.
(The boss… the actual Steve of Steves cars, we know we have a few!)

They have 3 life saving athletes selected to represent England in the 2023 Commonwealth Lifesaving Championships over in Canada!

These awesome young local hero’s are:

Freddie Postlethwaite – Belper.
Heather Watson – Denby.
Luke Waterfall -Ripley.

Playing out over the 13th – 17th September in Ontario, at the rather fancy sounding ‘Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre (WIATC).’ These three local life saving athletes form part of a 20 strong squad from all around the UK.

You can find out more about the Championships by clicking throguh here: Team England/Ripley Rascals.

The athletes all have to raise the funds themselves to get over to the championships. Steves Cars of Belper are helping them out with team transport, one of our 8 seater minibuses transporting them and their kit to and from Heathrow.
If you can help with any form of sponsorship to help them out, get in touch with Ripley Rascals swimming club.

I’m, sure they would appreciate anything you can do.
Any cash donations can made at Freddies official GoFundme page linked here: Donate.

Steve loves anything interesting and exciting so if you have anything he might like to hear about, get in touch: 01773 525 323.
